The way things go ...

While we are all eagerly waiting for the final results of all the national votings to be published on Monday we would like to gap that bridge by presenting you a classical chain reaction film.
It was first shown here in Kassel in 1987 during the documenta exhibition and is now displayed in the Centre Pompidou in Paris and the Museum of Modern Art in New York.

A small chain from Poland

Hello Everybody,
at the very beginning of this project, we thought it would be an easy task, but it wasn't.
Anyway, we had a lot of fun while planning and working on it.
Our video doesn't have any music added, but you can hear pupils' voices instead :) so ... it's not a silent movie. These are 5th and 1st grade pupils.

We have already watched your productions and must say that we've been amazed how creative and smart some of you are.!!!

Best wishes from Poland.

The chain from Iceland

Hello all
Here comes our part in this project. It took blood, sweat and tears to finish it, but here it is. But after watching a few videos of chain reactions our students had a brainstorming session on how their chain should look like. In the end they desided that their chain should be the outline of their home country, Iceland. We had a few rehearsals in our classroom which went well. The final lineup went very well and the class shoved a great teamwork. We really enjoyed working on this project and encourage others to do the same or simular projects. We hope you enjoy it.
Teachers and students in grade 6 in Flataskóli.

The Bulgaria Chain Reaction

It was one of the funniest thing we have ever done:We enjoyed e lot because it was not obedient- the chain fell down when it wanted or the air blew up it:)))
Good luck to everyone!!!

Scotland's chain reaction

Hello everyone!
Here is the chain reaction from the Scottish class, in Yester Primary School. The whole class took part in many tests, as the children thought about how they could create something completely on their own, and finally seven boys were chosen to create the end result. They had help and advice from the other pupils too.
We hope you enjoy watching the video, and we certainly look forward to seeing all the other chain reactions when we come back to school next week.
Good luck to all the competitors!

Chain reaction from Norway

Dear partners!

Due to the strict rules and copyright law, we couldn't add Diana Ross' Chain Reaction to our video (just offline - and it sounds GREAT!).
So, our video is a silent video - but we would like you to play her song (if you find it at YouTube, or have a CD playing along when watching the video, that is up to you;-))

We enjoyed our project a lot - now we're looking forward to see all yours, and of course; Dave's "European Chain Reaction (all our videos together).

Kind regards, Britha and her classes (4th. and 5th. grade) from Skare barneskule
